Privacy Policy

Important: Money-Wise is a manual-entry finance dashboard. Do not enter bank login credentials, account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax IDs, credit card numbers, or other highly sensitive identifiers.

1. What Money-Wise does

Money-Wise helps users manually track net worth, accounts, liabilities, budgets, projections, snapshots, goals, and related personal finance information. Money-Wise does not connect to banks or financial institutions.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to provide when using Money-Wise, such as your email address for login, your birthday for age-based calculations, and the financial information you manually enter into the app, including account names, balances, liabilities, snapshots, goals, budget values, notes, and settings.

3. Information you should not enter

You should not enter bank usernames, bank passwords, full account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, home addresses, credit card numbers, or any other highly sensitive identifiers. Money-Wise may ask for your birthday specifically to keep age-based planning tools current.

4. How we use information

We use your information to provide the Money-Wise dashboard, save and reload your data, maintain your account, and help you use the app. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data storage and service providers

Money-Wise uses Supabase for authentication and data storage. Your Money-Wise app data is stored so that your account can reload it when you sign in. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process data as needed to operate the website.

6. User control and deletion

You can delete your saved Money-Wise app data from the Settings tab by using the Delete All Data feature. This is intended to remove the financial data saved for your Money-Wise profile. You may also contact us if you need help with data deletion.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures for a small early-stage product, including account authentication and database access rules. No system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so users should avoid entering highly sensitive identifiers.

8. Children

Money-Wise is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Money-Wise changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
